Miss Chatz is delighted to share some fantastic news from the first round of the Urban Debate Mate interschool competition! Our 2024-25 debate team (years 5&6) has made an outstanding start, securing 15th place nationally and an impressive 2nd place in the West Midlands.

For some of our pupils, this was their very first experience in a competitive debate, and they rose to the challenge brilliantly. Their confidence, teamwork, and persuasive skills were on full display, and we couldn’t be prouder of their achievement.

We know this is just the beginning, and we’re excited to see them continue to smash the competition in the rounds ahead! Well done to all involved! 🎉👏
